Vacation Rentals by Owner (VRBO) is relatively new, so here are some answers to your Frequently Asked Questions:

What’s your cancellation policy?

Travelers who cancel at least 60 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they’ve paid. If they cancel between 30 and 60 days before check-in, they’ll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won’t get a refund.

When and where do I pay?

We use the VRBO.com website for all our reservations.  All reservations are paid in full before check in.  The website only accepts debit and credit cards.  We do not accept cash or checks.

For horse boarding, we bill separately.

What are the fees involved at VRBO?

It may seem like there are a lot of fees included in a VRBO rental, but the biggest one is the security deposit that most people get back in full.  We charge a cleaning fee for each reservation.  This is paid directly to our cleaning crew.  VRBO (Home Away) charges a service fee and collects our state taxes.  We also collect a refundable security deposit.  Instead of charging a Pet fee, we ask that you purchase the optional property damage insurance if you are bringing a pet.
